Your Privacy Is Our Policy:

We collect personal information about our customers, including (but not limited to) name, postal address, email address, and information collected for personalized items. This information is collected at the time of your order and is necessary to process your order. We respect your privacy. We do not and WILL NOT share, sell, rent or loan any personal information to any third party not affiliated with Creative Enterprises. The information you provide to us will be held with complete confidentiality.

Security:

How do I know whether or not your shopping cart is secure?

Our shopping cart IS secure. As you click into the shopping cart from the site to make your purchase, look up into the web site address window. You'll see that the "http" changes to "https" -- that "s" stands for Secure, whether in our shopping cart or anyone else's.

All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the secure shopping cart, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form directly to the credit card processing center. No one at Creative Enterprises has or even sees your credit card information when processed online. Telephone and mail orders sent to us for manual charging are handled just as discreetly.  After orders are charged manually, your credit card information is shredded. 

 We order products online all the time, both as a company and as individuals. It is our opinion that online credit card processing is no more risky than "traditional" point of purchase sales or telephone orders. Your banking information is already online as part of a database of information shared by your bank's branches and Visa/MC affiliates. 

Unfortunately however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, Creative Enterprises cannot ensure the absolute security of your information. When you make purchases over the Internet, you do so at your own risk.  We pledge to you however, that by use of the systems described above, that we have done our best to ensure security of your information utilizing the best technology and procedures available.

Shipping:

In an effort to minimize your shipping costs, we ship the majority of our products via US Postal Service (Priority Mail) to any destination in the continental US. Larger heavy items are shipped via UPS.

Please be aware that shipping rates are set by the U.S. Post Office and UPS, and are based upon a formula that they devise which includes the total weight of your order, size of package and destination. Merchants do not determine the cost of actual shipping.

The shopping cart we use here at SunsationalKids.com is one of the most sophisticated and accurate carts available for figuring shipping costs. Keeping this in mind, every order then is different from every other order; and therefore it is impossible to provide exact information regarding shipping costs until your order has been completed. At the time you place your order, the shopping cart system figures charges based on the formulas provided by USPS and UPS.

Shipping to certain areas of the country is also more expensive than shipping to other areas now. New security measures put into place after September 11, 2001 divided the country into zones based on what were determined to be high and low security areas. If your order is shipping to New York or California, deemed to be the highest security zones, shipping is more than it would be going to other states. This is standard for both the Post Office and UPS, and something over which we have no control.

Orders are typically shipped to the customer within 1-2 business days from receipt of your order. However, because customized orders are individually crafted after receiving your order, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery for these special items.

If an item is marked "Out of Stock," and you choose to order that item anyway, please note that it may not ship for anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on the anticipated date of shipment from the manufacturer. We do not mark items "out of stock" unless they are actually out of stock.

We ship within the US,
and when practical, to Canada. Items that are over-sized or extremely heavy make shipping out of the US impractical for us in terms of packaging and for our customers in terms of affordability. We do NOT ship to other countries at all. We are a small retail store and unlimited shipping options would require that we hire additional help, which would also require raising our prices . . . something we do not want to do.

PLEASE NOTE: The designation of "Priority Mail" is NOT expedited shipping, nor does the post office guarantee shipment in any particular time frame. It is in fact just a step above First Class postage, and on small items under 2 lbs., costs only a few cents more than First Class. The difference in delivery time however, can be significant. Priority Mail (while not guaranteed) generally ships anywhere in the country within a 2-4 day time period. First class takes anywhere from 3-6 days, in our experience. For the little extra in shipping, we opt to use Priority Mail as our general means of shipping to best serve the majority of our customers.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: UPS will not deliver to post office boxes. For this reason, physical addresses must be provided for shipping purposes if you are ordering items too heavy or large for routine shipping through the post office.

Quality:

Without seeing the actual product, how can I be assured that I will receive the type of quality you describe?

We understand that buying over the Internet can be a risk. But we offer this assurance: We will never offer you ANYTHING that our own kids wouldn't love, or that we (as parents) wouldn't love for them to have. We invest a great deal of time and effort into researching our products in order to bring you the best!

Refund Information:

Suppose my gift doesn't get to the recipient in time for a birthday or holiday? Can I get my money back?

Unless we have neglected to ship merchandise in a timely manner, it is truthfully the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure that items are purchased allowing sufficient time for delivery through UPS or U.S. Priority Mail. (We use both, depending on the item and whether or not it is sent through us or drop-shipped by a craftsman). So then, in the absence of our own neglect, we do not refund for items that do not reach their destination when anticipated.

With the exception of special order items, we attempt to ship all orders within 24 - 72 hours of order placement, except on weekends when postal and/or UPS offices are closed. After shipment, we cannot be responsible for the time it takes for shipments to be delivered through UPS or USPS services. It is prudent at this time in history, with security precautions causing slow-downs in delivery times, that shoppers be aware that actual delivery times are out of the control of merchants.

It is best then to allow no less than 1 week for your purchase to reach its destination during normal times of shipment. During heavy mail and delivery periods (such as the time prior to Christmas), it is wise to allow at least 10 days to 2 weeks. We post special warnings of expected slow delivery times whenever notified by the post office of expected delays. It is also necessary to remember that UPS does NOT work on weekends for general shipments. If you order then on a Wednesday, with an expected shipping time of 3-4 working days, that order will probably not reach its destination until the following Monday.

Returns Policy:

We do accept returns for refund. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return it to us within 14 days of shipment for a full refund, excluding shipping charges. Your return should include a note with the reason for the return. This guarantee however, does not include customized orders, nor merchandise that has been used.

Because customized orders are hand made after receiving an order, these special items can only be returned due to damage during shipment, or due to an error on our part.

And obviously, used merchandise cannot be re-sold. It is in everyone's best interest if you return your merchandise in the exact condition in which it left our store. If you tear open manufacturer's packaging unnecessarily, it obviously creates a problem for us. Please use care when evaluating your purchases.

We do not accept merchandise for credit without proof of purchase. That does not mean you need a receipt. If someone sent you an item that you happened to find on our web site, we will need the name of the person who sent that item to you. If we do not have them in our order file, we cannot give you a refund on that item. We probably shouldn't have to say this, but on occasion people think they can send us a toy and get money back, just because we happen to carry that toy. Obviously, we cannot logically do that. We accept returns only on merchandise actually purchased from SunsationalKids.com. That's only fair.

SunsationalKids.com proudly displays Yahoo's Top Service designation. It means that our store participates in Yahoo's Customer Rating Program, and that customers who have ordered from us have given it the highest ratings. Yahoo stores that have a star next to their satisfaction rating as we do, maintain at least 95% positive ratings.
